An NTA 8776-certified helmet is a European standard for helmets that offer more protection than a standard bicycle helmet. Due to the increasing use of heavy e-bikes, protection for the sides and back of the head is becoming increasingly important. NTA is mandatory in the Netherlands for speed pedelecs and mopeds. Sizes vary by 3 to 5 centimeters per size. Some helmets allow for more space. Also consider the head shape. For example, the SKATE model is rounder, while the PILOT model is relatively more oval.
